Luke Welch eagerly returned to England to open the new seasons in Beckenham and Marlow. Though he was greeted with a familiar crowd on hand for his fourth
appearance at St. George's, he was in unfamiliar territory in picturesque Marlow.
The trip began with a recital at St. George's Church - representing his fourth appearance in the delightful concert series in Beckenham. This performance featured works by Domenico Scarlatti (including sonatas from his Crossing Borders album), Chopin, Morawetz, and Robert Schumann - the latter composer having been featured in a festival at St. George's Church earlier in the week. The audience, who has been continuing to grow and support each visit, was as enthusiastic as they have ever been.
