With less than two weeks to go, Luke Welch will be capping the release of his highly anticipated new album The Return with a performance at Klavierhaus Piano Atelier in Toronto, Canada on Saturday February 16th, at 7:00 pm. This recital will feature a collective variety of works from the new album – including Ludwig van Beethoven’s twelfth Sonata in A-flat Major, Op. 26 and Robert Schumann’s Faschingsschwank aus Wien (Carnival Jest from Vienna), Op. 26.
This album represents Welch’s third recording, and comes on the heels of his critically acclaimed second
album Crossing Borders (released in 2017), and his debut album The Universal Language (2015). Recorded in Cologne,
Germany, the program features an exciting variety of lyrical and virtuoso works and will be available worldwide on CD Baby in both digital and CD editions.
