November 2017 will be a very active month, as Luke Welch will be making a return visit to his native country, Canada - this time for his first visit to the west coast for a tour through British Columbia.  This trip will cover eight cities around the province featuring an exciting solo programme of works by Domenico Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Canadian composer Oskar Morawetz.  The tour serves as part of the Crossing Borders album tour - an album of Scarlatti keyboard sonatas released in 2017 which AfriClassical writes: "The entire program is attractive to us, and has remained so through numerous hearings".

The series begins on Sunday November 12 at the Old School House in Qualicum Beach beginning at 2:30 pm, and continues as follows:

  • Tuesday November 14 at Brentwood Presbyterian Church (Burnaby), 7:00pm
