2017 ONTARIO CANADA TOUR


NEXT UP: DEBUT RECITAL AT KWCMS!

To cap off the Ontario tour, Luke Welch will be making his debut appearance on Thursday June 1st at KWCMS Music Room as hosted by Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society.  This performance, which will feature an exciting solo recital of varying works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Morawetz will begin at 8:00 pm.  Click  here for more details.

2017 ONTARIO TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

OTTAWA

Saturday May 27 featured a return appearance at Trinity Anglican Church.  This recital was the sixth Ontario performance of the Crossing Borders  album tour.

OTTAWA

Wednesday May 24 signified the first appearance at First Baptist Church in Ottawa in a highly anticipated return to the nation's capital.  

TORONTO

Sunday May 21 featured the fourth performance of the Crossing Borders international album tour at St. Barnabas on the Danforth in Toronto.

BRAMPTON

Saturday May 20 included a debut recital at St. Paul's United Church in Brampton as part of the Brampton Chamber Music Concert Series. 

GUELPH

On Friday May 19, Luke Welch made an appearance at Heritage Hall in Guelph - via Guelph Black Heritage Society. 

KITCHENER

To start the Ontario segment of the Crossing Borders tour, Luke Welch made a return to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kitchener on Wednesday May 17th.

As the second performance of the return trip to Ottawa, Luke Welch will be performing at Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday May 27th, beginning at 4:30 pm.   After a successful debut recital at First Baptist Church this past Wednesday May 24th, Welch will making his second appearance at the Music at Trinity concert series which will feature an exciting solo programme.

After completing performances earlier this week in Kitchener, Guelph, and Brampton, the Crossing Borders international album release tour through Ontario continues on Sunday May 21st at St. Barnabas on the Danforth in Toronto, beginning at 2:00 pm.  This recital will feature an exciting solo programme of piano works!

GUELPH RECITAL FRIDAY MAY 19th!

As a continuation of his Ontario, Canada Crossing Borders album tour pianist Luke Welch will be presenting a recital on Friday May 19th (7:30 pm) at Heritage Hall in Guelph - hosted by Guelph Black Heritage Society.  This recital will feature works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Morawetz, and Schumann!

In an action-packed weekend, Luke Welch will be continuing his Ontario tour which includes three recitals in three cities!  On Friday May 19th, he will make an appearance at Heritage Hall in Guelph beginning at 7:30 pm.  Saturday May 20th sees him present a recital at St. Paul's Church in Brampton (7:30 pm) as part of the Brampton Chamber Music Concert Series, followed by a performance at St. Barnabas on the Danforth in Toronto on Sunday May 21st beginning at 2:00 pm.

AFTERNOON OF PLEASANT SURPRISES AT MUZIEKSCHUUR!

This past Sunday May 8th, in an exciting afternoon full of pleasant surprises, pianist Luke Welch made his Belgium debut at Muziekschuur in front of a very enthusiastic audience.  The programme, which included unexpected repertoire additions, also featured an encore that those in attendance will be sure to remember!  Special thanks to the incredibly friendly and delightful promoters who made this event possible.
